Course Overview
The HiQual UK Level 3 Award in Advance Scaffold Inspector - STI is designed for experienced scaffolding and construction personnel seeking to develop advanced knowledge of scaffold inspection, structural stability, scaffold-load calculations, hazard identification, and inspection documentation.
The programme covers frame, tube-and-coupler, system, mobile, suspended and other scaffold arrangements. Learners develop knowledge of scaffold components, safe work requirements, foundations, ties, bracing, working platforms, inspection criteria, and hazards associated with scaffold erection, alteration, dismantling and use.
The qualification emphasises systematic inspection, recognition of defects, appropriate risk decisions, accurate reporting, and understanding when a scaffold issue requires review by a suitably qualified design or engineering professional.
