Course Overview
Hiqual UK Occupational Safety and Health in Mining program equips professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage hazards unique to mining and extractive industries. Participants explore mining-specific risks such as cave-ins, dust, gas, explosions, environmental impacts, and emergency planning. The course draws on international mining safety frameworks such as the Safety and Health in Mines Convention, 1995. It is designed for those working in underground, surface, or mineral extraction operations who need to promote safety and health in challenging environments.
