Course Overview
The HiQual UK Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) is designed as an advanced professional qualification for practitioners responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and improving quality across construction projects.
The qualification focuses on the complete construction-quality lifecycle, including quality management systems, project quality planning, inspection and testing, materials and workmanship control, subcontractor and supplier quality, documentation and traceability, auditing, nonconformity management, corrective action, and quality performance improvement.
The programme is designed around the practical realities of construction projects, where quality management must connect contractual requirements, drawings and specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, procurement, site activities, testing, records, handover and close-out.
The structure is informed by ISO 9001:2026, which is the current edition of ISO's quality-management-system requirements, as well as ISO 10005:2018 guidance on quality plans and ISO 10006:2017 guidance on quality management in projects.
Important Note: The title Certified Construction Quality Manager describes this HiQual UK qualification. It does not by itself confer an ISO certification, statutory construction licence, chartered status or certification issued by ISO or another external professional body.
