Course Overview
The HiQual UK Level 3 Diploma in Offshore Operations is designed to develop learners’ knowledge of offshore work environments, operational procedures, safety management, equipment use, marine logistics, maintenance coordination, emergency preparedness and environmental responsibilities.
The qualification provides a structured introduction to the operational activities involved in offshore oil and gas installations, marine support operations and relevant offshore energy environments. Learners develop an understanding of how offshore teams coordinate routine activities, control workplace risks, maintain operational reliability and follow established procedures.
The programme combines technical knowledge with practical workplace scenarios to support learners preparing for, or developing within, offshore operations-related roles.
This is a proposed HiQual UK qualification design. It does not, by itself, confer OPITO approval, offshore medical fitness, authorization to perform safety-critical duties or certification for a specific offshore occupation.
